Rule of Food Pop! : Objects that represent a food. Smooth surfaces, bright colors, bulbous elements are key. Must be simple to identify the chosen food, and not overwhelmingly maximalist in detail. The essence of the object’s functionality stays true, and the additive nature of a food design completes the aesthetic. One can remove the food design and is left with the functional object.

Reason : This rule appeals to the appreciation of duality. Identifying the food shaped object first visually adds a layer of intrigue to the function of the object, or vice versa. Both aspects of form and function are not hiding the object from the viewer.
